Flora and Fauna

Roser Park hosts an impressive array of plant and animal life. On any given day, peer up into our lush canopy, or into the shadows along the meandering banks of Booker Creek, and be prepared to be dazzled by rare and exotic birds, insects and reptiles. Don't be surprised to spot the occasional wayward alligator or giant snook!
The Historic Roser Park neighborhood association is committed to the preservation, maintenance and restoration of an environmentally responsible and attractive landscape, and is working hard with the city of St Petersburg and local partners such as the Ronald MacDonald House and Bayfront Medical Center to improve our parks.
