The 8th Annual Roser Park
Tour of Homes has been postponed!
Originally scheduled for April 3rd, 2010, our Tour has been postponed to the future. The City's retaining wall project will not be completed by then, and we want the public to see us at our best! We will send out an email announcement when a new date is known. Be sure we have your address if you want to be informed about the latest Historic Roser Park news!
Planning begins soon to find six different homes to show to the public. If you have any interest in opening YOUR home, and your home hasn't been on the tour in the last 3 years, please contact the chairman at the email contact link below.
The 2009 event, sponsored by the Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association, showcased seven(7) homes including the Worldwide Home Stagers Project, the Ronald McDonald House and a guided walking tour of the neighborhood’s unique Outdoor Museum.
Free parking is available in the medical parking garage at 8th Street and 7th Avenue South in St Petersburg.
For more information: Call (727) 898-9229 or Email.
This year we continue the tradition of showing you great houses that should be very interesting to see. One of them is the ‘after’ view of a house that was in the middle of a restoration two years ago. One of them has never been open before! The Bradshaw mansion, always impressive, is the place to view a gorgeous garden and get a bite to eat. The other homes have not been shown in at least three years.
You will be able to easily walk to all the homes on the tour. From the starting point to the end is less than ½ of a mile. Be sure to take a break along your way, though, to join the guided tour of our Outdoor Museum.
