Richard Williams, Tracey and daughters Olivia and Alexa Williams have lived in their 1926 Roser Park bungalow for one year now, and have loved every day of it. Richard, HRPNA's newly appointed President, is a straightforward, down-to-earth guy with a progressive attitude and a pragmatic vision of Roser Park's promising future.

Richard, a hardwood floor contractor originally from Savannah, Ga., and Tracey, who works at Bayfront Medical Center, are originally from the Detroit area. The majority of the renovations on their lovely home were completed prior to purchase.

One of the best features of the home is the oversized lot, which features a heated pool and a beautiful, tropical garden on the east side with 35 different types of orchids!

In addition to his eager participation in many neighborhood activities, Richard has skillfully restored much of the original and period hardwood flooring in Roser Park, including most recently at the McDonald's home. Richard's techniques reflect his concern for the proper handling, restoration and preservation of delicate, antique woods, his methods serving to enhance natural beauty, durability and value. The results are invariably breathtaking, and are sure to keep his calendar booked with lots of Roser Park addresses.

The Williams feel that "the best thing about living in Roser Park is the people and the location. We could not have asked for better neighbors, and are so conveniently located to everything in town and all the beautiful beaches."
Michael Manlowe Philippe Piquet
Michalel & Philippe are the proud new owners of this Craftsman Foursquare built in 1920. Recent additions to our neighborhood and board of directors, they have already done lots of good work. They are so busy, they haven't had the time to tell you about it themselves in this little online bio. Suffice it to say that they are both fun and interseting folks with a mean pico de gallo! Whooooo!.
The Foursquare was one of the most popular turn-of-the-century homes. In rebellion of the ornate Victorian style, the foursquare looked for simplicity and economy in design to create an inexpensive house that would provide large amounts of comfortable living space.
Dick Giebner, USNR (retired) is the Treasurer of H.R.P.N.A.. He is also on the board of Pinellas Habitat For Humanity. Dick, his wife Sandy and their son Tyler, live here in Roser Park with their family of six foster children.

Their house was built in 1958 as a 5-unit apartment building, which the Giebners, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, purchased in the summer of 1998. The building had been abandoned for 14 years and suffered extensive termite and scavenger damage. Dick, an able craftsman, gutted the entire structure up to the trusses and converted it to a single family residence. Dick did most of the work himself, including custom cabinetry. They received their C. of O. in April 2000.

Sandy likes her porch the best, and Dick likes his workshop - no surprise there, but according to the Giebners, the best thing about living in Roser Park is the great neighbors. If you meet Dick, he might favor you with one of his intricate, handmade candle votives, which light up many of the homes in Roser Park.
